Privacy notice
Medwuma is an early-stage project building a locum shift platform for doctors, health facilities and agents in Ghana. This notice explains what we collect through our questionnaire and early access list, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your answers to the questionnaire.
- Your name, WhatsApp number and, if you give it, your email address and facility name.
- Your choices about joining the early access list and being contacted for a follow-up conversation.
- The referral code in the link you used, so we know which group or person shared it.
We do not ask for your MDC number, Ghana Card or any health information at this stage.
Why we use it
- To understand how locum work happens today and design the app around it.
- To tell you when Medwuma opens, if you joined the early access list.
- To contact you for a short conversation, only if you said yes to that.
We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who can see it
Only the Medwuma founding team. We do not sell or share your details with hospitals, agents or anyone else. Summaries of answers may be shared without names or contact details.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored securely with our database provider, Supabase, on servers in Dublin, Ireland (European Union). The public website can only add answers; it cannot read them back.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until Medwuma launches, and for no more than 24 months from when you submitted them, unless you create an account with us.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time. Message us at hello@medwuma.com and we will act on it within 14 days. You may also contact the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
